General Operating Support (GOS) is an unrestricted gift that can be used to cover any of a non-profit’s expenses.
GOS funds provide our nonprofits support of day-to-day activities and or ongoing expenses central to the business. These activities or costs may include administrative salaries, office supplies, building utilities, technology maintenance, project costs, capital or technology purchases, and professional development for professional staff.
The support is for the overall mission of the organization rather than for a particular program or project.
